1. Low Value Quotes assignment to Transactional Sales (Sales)
All low value quotes i.e. quote value < AED 2500, pertaining to CSE & SSD will be assigned to Transactional Sales (TS) for follow up. Note that this quote value will be controlled by a system parameter so that it can be altered, if needed.
Two system parameters have been introduced :-
- Number of days after quote submission when the TS call should be created.
- Quote Value Threshold : The Quote value in AED below which the call should be created.
These system parameters will be defined and controlled by the Panoply team. The parameter values can be changed based on confirmation from business.
A daily scheduled job has been created to check for low value CSD/SSD quotes AND to create calls based on 'quote value' & 'number of days' since quote was submitted. These calls will list in the Transactional sales manager's queue for assignment to tele-callers. Also note that these calls will be tagged with the campaign code 'IDR_2504_LOW VOLUME QUOTE'. The 'Description' field in the call interaction record (call created in Transactional sales) will show the 'lead number', 'quote value' and the 'quote submitted date' for which the call was created.
Whenever a lead is closed OR order is received, system will automatically close the TS call and send email notifications to the Manager and the tele-caller.
Eg., if quote was originally was < 2500 AED and later as part of an amendment it becomes > 2500 AED, the call will get automatically closed with email notification going to the manager and tele-caller.
Likewise, as part of quote amendment, when quote value is changed (reduced) to < 2500 AED, system will create a call in TS for follow-up.
2. KAM Tracker - Service Delivery (Service)
Few UI changes have been made to the KAM tracker
The tracked grid shows only 'Open' and 'Reopen' items by default, while the column 'Priority' has been replaced with 'Owner'.
Couple of changes have been made to the search option - search by 'Region' replaces 'Country' AND users can also search based on 'Owner'.
When user adds a new record for an existing customer (one whose call is in 'closed' status) the call will get reopened and shown in the grid in 'Reopen' status.
3. Column to indicate PSG involvement in Sales (Sales, PSG)
There is a column provided in 'Configuration -> Lead update' window to indicate PSG's involvement during sale process. This column earlier was labelled 'As per Specs' but now has been changed to 'PS Involved' (ref below screenshot)
This column will be tick marked once PO is received for a lead. The tick-mark is to indicate whether a PS team member was involved during the initial stage of an order like:-
a. Pre-sales Discussion
b. WebEx Presentation
c. Site visit for presentation
d. Demo
e. Forming of specs before RFQ
Note that this column is generally used for Equipment leads/orders
